Number of Pakistani tourists visiting India fall sharply over three years

NEW DELHI, Oct 30 -- A latest report released by India's Home (Internal Security) Ministry has revealed that there has been a sharp fall in the number of Pakistani tourists visiting India over the past three years, Xinhua news agency reported.

According to it, the number of Pakistani tourists fell down from 104,720 in 2016 to 57,283 in the whole of 2018 and first three months of 2019 (15 months) put together.

This assumes significance in the wake of deteriorating bilateral ties between the two neighbours over the past few years. For over seven decades the two countries have been fighting over Kashmir
Quoting the report, English daily 'The Hindu' reported on Tuesday that the maximum number of foreign visitors in 15 months beginning Jan 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019 were from Bangladesh.

Of the 13.7 million foreigners who came to India in the same period, around 2.9 million were from Bangladesh, followed by 1.9 million from the United States and 1.37 million from the United Kingdom.

In the 15-month period, a total of 16,121 Long Term Visas (LTVs) were granted to Pakistani nationals.

Govt should ban Pakistani citizen from travelling to India ...if not officially then unofficially, why on earth Pakistani govt send its people to harm's way knowingly? what if mob of Sanghi swines lynch them? what if some sanghi swine try to rape Pakistani? what if they label Pakistani citizen an intelligence officer and arrest an innocent person and ruin the life of whole family? is this all trouble worth visiting shrines in bharat? its seems almost 30000 Pakistanis don't care about their lives (who visit bharat) neither govt care about them.
