Yes, waste from nuclear reactors can be used to make nuclear weapons, but Pakistan is already a nuclear power.

That is just factually wrong.

Nuclear power does not have a low running cost. Only the fuel is cheap. But the operations and maintenance costs are very high. Add to that security costs, safety requirements, waste disposal etc., and nuclear power becomes extremely expensive.

That is why the west is actually turning away from nuclear power. Case in point, Germany and Switzerland

Hydro power is the MOST profitable form of energy,
next are tidal and then comes wind.

Simple profitability = money out / money in

however these variables are skewed, when we consider climatic and geographic constraints.

The gulf countries for example can not have hydro power, for them Nuclear IS the most efficient form of energy because they have no natural water reservoirs.

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency said he had reached a deal with Iran on investigating its suspected nuclear weapons programme, in a confidence-building measure ahead of crucial talks between Tehran and six world powers this week.

Yukiya Amano, director-general of the UN body, said on Tuesday that a “decision was made to conclude and sign the agreement ... I can say it will be signed quite soon”. Speaking in Vienna after returning from Tehran, where he had held talks with Saeed Jalili, Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator, Mr Amano added that a few details needed to be resolved but these would not block progress.
