NSG in International Bodyguarding competiton

Just came across this thought i would share. no SPG which is weird cos I would have thought they were India's premier BG service?

Where can I hire her services ?

There's not much info and pictures about the competition. This is all I learnt about the results :

In general the winners were the team of Yuschenko, the second place took the guards of Lukashenko, the third – Indians. Bodyguards of Putin and Saakashvili closed the group of five finalists.


There may be some reasons why SPG was not chosen. Still, good work by NSG.

Its should be SPG, NSG is not for bodyguarding. But I think for some reasons they didn't sent SPG.

SPG personnel are drawn mostly from NSG, apart from other agencies. Anywho, the SPG are pretty busy to indulge in such competitions. NSG otoh, get exposed to others' techniques.

Please if India sends NSG or whatever, it will be for the purpose of learning better tactics and training. The reason is simple look at the outcome of 26/11. Enough said....its sad to call them such because their lack of equipment and training definitely showed in the world's media! For god's sake there were reports of folks not being able to fire on targets and even hold a damn gun properly. In the states, our law enforcement agencies practice firing their weapons at ranges many, many times. There are even tees conducted to determine that they are capable of firing every year. India has a world class gun range as seen in the CWG but can only be accessed by the wealthy or powerful. Sad state of affairs! Pathetic!

I agree, they are no match compared to western counterparts and non-western nations also.

I feel like the military is spend a lot on tanks(T-90s,Arjuns) and aircrafts(MMRCA,Su MKI,Globemasters,C-130,trainers,etc,etc,etc,etc) then on the men on the ground.

I dont know what makes u to say that , the NSG does have the necessary training. How do u know how they are trained? It is one of the most disciplined,proffesional trained team in the world. About the media in 26/11 they are the first traitors for the nation and NSG. Next comes the Petty Polititians.
