Now U.S. questions Japan about stance on China-led bank

Lol.

Mike, new username? What happened to your other one?

Well seems like another PDF boss decided to get rid of me because he was uncomfortable with some of my honest comments.
But worry not you mere mortal for i shall away rise from the banned and reincarnate as mike the one and only. So here i am.:):enjoy:

Seriously, USA should mind it's damn business!!!

 and i thought you were always praising the ties US and Japan shared. Guess this is just one of those moments you had enough of Sam's meddling affairs. Will Abe dare to defy or succumb to Obama's pressure? The coming weeks/months should provide us some amusing developments in regard to the partaking of AIIB . Fact is US doesn't like the idea of closer ties among East Asian countries, fear of losing grip on Japan and waning influence in the region.
Whether Japan succeeds in closing US military bases remains to be seen ;) , in the mean time lets hope Japan is smart enough not to antagonize its neighbors for the sake of trilateral East Asian growth.

.
With AIIB, China will have less and less interested on ADB in the future, we rather concentrate to put effort on this new bank that we have created than spend time on ADB whcih is control by Japan and US that we have the least to say. If AIIB proven to be sucess...next we will create a World infrastructure investment bank :enjoy:

Why bother by going through the process of creating another bank?

Just pump up the loan capital to $300 billion and "politely" asked the existing 40 + founding members to rename the AIIB to WIIB.

Job is done.

The beauty of this strategy is that the US and Japan will still just be "ordinary" members in the new WIIB.

And how you propose to raise $300 billion capital? Surely China can contribute more but question is can other members contribute more?

North Korea refused admittance :D what a great friend they got :D

think I like this AIIB.

a bank is a bank is my opinion I don't care who is heading it.

.
The US needs to stop being a sour grape loser and get with the program. They should learn where their big mouth always preach about avoiding a zero-sum game situation.

..

But people should care about whos heading a bank if their buisness would be affected, speaking for those who got more money/vitality/capability would always be the smart thing to do than choosing leaders in stagnation and debts.

.
Japan shouldn't have to explain anything to anyone. Japan and the US may have defense agreements, but they don't have to ask about our economic interests. Germany , UK, France, Australia joined the AIIB. I don't understand this paranoia on Washington's part in regards to Japanese-Chinese warming of relations.

The only country in the whole world that benefits from China-Japan tensions, is the United States of America.

Yes some Pakistani member who misunderstood me.:D:tongue:

Well, maybe, but then again every country is free to make their own decisions. Everybody shouldn't always BE QUICK TO blame the U.S everytime. If Japan and China were really honest about ironing out their differences, they would have done so long time ago. The U.S is not responsible for all their issues, afterall will you also say its because of the 'evil' U.S that Japan hasnt apologised sincerely for its past war crimes attrocities to China and South Korea ?? Is it also because of the U.S that Japan wont ever(rightly) cede its senkakus island to China?? Is it also because of the U.S that there were violent anti Japanese protests in China few years ago?? The thing is, if you understand the region well, you will know that CHINA AND JAPAN HAVE BEEN BITTER RIVALS/ENNEMIES FOR CENTURIES. its not something that just started today 'because of the U.S boggeyman'. lool:tongue:

.
There is strategic mistrust between China & Japan, what better way to alleviate this issue then to have Japan join the AIIB & the Silk Road projects? Instead of taking divergent paths, convergence of common interest will benefit both countries.
