They are Tibeto-Burmese, and they look very much like the people in Myanmar and Thailand.

That's a silly little Anglo-Saxon classification slang. BTW Burma and Thailand were once a part of Indian empires too.

Northeasterns look like Thais. This could be because the Northeast was historically part of Myanmar before it got conquered by the British, which itself was a tributary of China.

Thanks for complimenting our region, but your history is a little twisted there. Thailand, Burma and Champa have been historically Indian as well for very long times.

We're no different from you guys, mate. Just another bunch of states in our country which due to our location across another country, gets ignored by the Centre at times. But yeah, we do get a lot of other states' Indians here for tourism and the figures are only set to increase more as our economy grows.

Rango will grow as a great Industrial centre once the Sevoke-Rango rail line is complete. Hope the project will be completed in time. They should have also included Gangtok in the Rail Project. 3-4 years passes like a snapshot in the life.
