They are Tibeto-Burmese, and they look very much like the people in Myanmar and Thailand.
That's a silly little Anglo-Saxon classification slang. BTW Burma and Thailand were once a part of Indian empires too.
Northeasterns look like Thais. This could be because the Northeast was historically part of Myanmar before it got conquered by the British, which itself was a tributary of China.

Thanks for complimenting our region, but your history is a little twisted there. Thailand, Burma and Champa have been historically Indian as well for very long times.

naga's are regarded as india's most beautiful ethnic group, but naga's don't look "indian", rather east asian.
