I am still waiting for the news about the delivery of the 4 Russian helicopters to Pakistan..I believe that news of the signing of the contract is 2 years old. Chinese push and influence on Russia can only go so far.

And to be very Frank I Personally have no issue with India-Russia Ties. International Relations are not Unilateral. India is a big Arms Purchaser from Russia and they need those weapons to defend there homeland Indians. Nothing wrong with it. That deal has hit a snag after the Russians insisted that they will not send units for desert trials because they feel the platform has a rich service history which should be proof enough of its capabilities. Pakistan on the other hand insists that the conditions that these birds have to face in Pakistan are starkly different and therefore they must be put through trials before adoption.
