What's new

No thank you, Mr Javad Zarif, Iran’s proposal is unacceptable

Perhaps you should open a book and read or just don't talk about the history of Iran-Arab ties.

You obviously are ignorant on this matter, on a scale that you don't even know very same countries gave Saddam Hussein 70 billion dollars in cash in his war against Iran in 80s.

I won't even talk about their proxy terrorists attacking Iran, or their proxies in Iraq or Syria attacking Iranian interests.

Only a brainwashed sectarian person won't see both sides of a story like this.

100% agree with this. Iran is fighting proxy wars in Arab countries, but it is not the only one doing that and it is not like they've not been a victim of this in the past. The Gulf Arab states also have proxies in these countries and in the past, they financed Iraq to fight against Iran.

Having said all this, 2 wrongs don't make a right. If both sides want peace, they need to admit to their activities, desist from them, and then they have the foundations on which to make peace.

Agreed. But, perhaps it is now too late. Both, Iran and GCC, have been successfully trapped and are now following the path of destructing each other, which would ultimately prove to be a self destructing course, for both, and would effect, severely, other Muslim countries, as well.

Instead of developing nukes and be ready to attack these hateful creatures ,shah Sultan Hosein is emitting sign of weakness ...
Like hell if Arab or the western honour their promises .....

.
Well my friend , all Pakistanis on this forum are deliberately bashing Iran for their proxies , and not Arabs and Americans because Americans give us alms and Saudis give us Oil , stop this hypocrisy , another reason is that Iran supports india , it is because we made them do it by becomming Saudi puppets , the Sheikhs of mighty KSA are not angels , open your eyes ...
majority of us hate iran because of kulbushan and izair baloch type character and obviously their arrogance .

If it was'nt for Iran , winning 1965 war and bitch slapping india would'nt have been possible ... and btw KSA and UAE have biggest export , import relations with india then why don't we end relations with them too ...
having relation and harbouring raw are two different things .

Hahahaha , yours respectfully , may i say who are you to ask if i love Iran more than Pakistan ...
you are a typical khatmal no doubt :) .

Iraq was sunni state and now shia state so tell me how a synni state turns into shia state ?

I explained it in other thread a while ago that Iran proposal for talks ain't new and has no connection with curremt situation ... actually we've had a security pact signed btw Iran and Saudis back in 2005 and just after that Saudis asked American to attack Iran ... moreover it's been for years Iran calling out for regional talks . idiots wouldn't understand:

2016:
Overcoming Regional Challenges in the Middle East: An Iranian Perspective
Chatham House, London

Q: Do you see a time where Saudi Arabia and Iran will collaborate? When will that be?
Mohammad Javad Zarif:
Tomorrow, if they're ready. We didn't break diplomatic relations. I'm saying it, and I'm saying it with every possible intention. We are ready to engage with all our neighbours in the Persian Gulf for security in the region, starting tomorrow. If they're ready

2017:
Iranian foreign minister urges regional cooperation after returning from Oman, Qatar

“We have repeatedly suggested a system of dialogue in the Persian Gulf, but unfortunately this has not been acknowledged by some countries, who see their future through tension, pressure and imposing on neighbors,” Zarif said, according to state media.

2018:
Zarif Says Neither Saudis Nor Iran Can Dominate Middle East; Talks Needed
Zarif said there is "a dire need for change" and "Iran is ready for it because we are big enough, old enough, mature enough to appreciate this reality."
"None of us can become the new hegemon" in the region, he said. "The era of hegemonic influence is long gone," he said. "Neither Iran nor Saudi Arabia can be the hegemons of the region. That's a fact."
Zarif called for a new "regional dialogue forum" that would include five Gulf Cooperation Council countries along with Iran, Iraq, and Yemen. He said such a dialogue has the potential to transform the Middle East.

Furthermore Iran responded to Kuwait's plan of dialogue positively in way Iran president had a trip to Kuwait to show Iran readiness for solving problems & misunderstandings .. despite the fact that dialogue plan was initiated by all members of PGCC including Saudis, they refused of taking any further step & Rohuni trip became pointless and no talk took place..

"...Sources told Kuwaiti daily Al Seyassah that Rouhani’s visit is linked to the message from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), comprising Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, to Iran to start a strategic dialogue.

The message was conveyed last month by Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Shaikh Sabah Al Khalid Al Sabah to Rouhani in Tehran.

The GCC countries agreed at their summit in Manama in December to send a message to their neighbour that would centre on starting a dialogue based on the principles of good neighbourliness, non-interference in the domestic affairs of other countries and respect for the sovereignty of other countries, the official said..."

But morons would be morons and feast on stupidity of people ....
iran should stop supporting its proxies first .
if houthis exist no peace will happen between gulf and iran .
if hezbullah exist no peace will happen between gulf and iran.
.
to be honest iran lost the support of non Arab sunnis when they support shias in sunni majority country . if iran attacked no one will mourns for them .

.
Iranians have always had a positive view over Pakistan for example it's rare even I have never seen that we would celebrate another country national day but we do it about Pakistan:

If it wasn't for insecurity in our borders 2 countries had nothing else as source and bases of concern ...

I have sense of what you think about us(when there was no blame game) from your IMF (Iranian military forum) forum which dont exist anymore, we will always remain Wahhabis, working for jews, CIA, Mossad, Martian against holy supa powa Iran.

Houthis have ruled Yemen for centuries their existence is not our decision or yours and funny part is once they were Saudis allies ... peace derives from justice which is not seen in your one-sided wordings whatsoever ... you don't see the other side of story which people in this country had revolution back in 2011 and toppled the status que supported by Saudis & americans ... Iran asked for peace insisted for peace lobbied for peace to stop the war others kept bombing people and then we supported people .... peace would happen if those whom bomb people in Yemen and their supporters realize the only exit plan is letting people in this country to talk ..

And existence of Hezbollah in Lebanon again ain't your business its Lebanon people whom their lands were attacked by israel and finally managed to liberate it back in 2000 .. I don't know why you guys don't like the only force that has been able to defeat israel but FYI:

"...Lebanon’s Foreign Minister and head of the Change and Reform parliamentary bloc, Gebran Bassil, stressed on Tuesday that Hezbollah resistance represents the popular conscience as well as the national principles of the Lebanese, categorically denying the possibility of witnessing a Shiite-Christian rift in the country.

“The alliance with Hezbollah is “among our firm principles and our alliance is the result of honesty, commitment, sacrifice, efforts and blood,” Bassil said..."

OR
Mr. Bassil
“For us, Hezbollah is a Lebanese party, not terrorists. Its members of parliament were elected by the Lebanese people, with high popular support.”

OR

President Michel Aoun’s office quoted him as saying that Hezbollah is part of the Lebanese people and is represented in the Cabinet and parliament.

So you are free to ask Hezbollah get vanished but as far as it is a political party in Lebanon with MPs in parliament and minsters in cabinet your wishes would never come to existence ...

I dont think Iranian FM came to pakistan for non agressiin pact with gulf states, he came here for non agression from pakistani side and support in afghanistan region if usa goes to war.

For gulf they or he can go to friendly countries like iraq, qatar egypt turkey.

This is a preparation of safety ring before the war starts. And we should help iran as pakistaniz.

War is always bad. Im sure gulf friendlies will do the same for iran. Say no to war pakistaniz. We dont want war in afghanistan, iran, india , china or tajikistan they are our close neighbours. They should be strong and stable so that pakistan is strong and stable.
Iran needs support. We should not turn our back even if iran has been bad towards us perhaps they will learn our way. And when we are under threat iran will not take sides with our enemies.

I think we should not take sides with enemies of iran. Even if the enemies of iran are its own brothers the arabs we should diffuse the tension. My opinion as a pakistani kashmiri.

Even God Damn me if i ever label myself as a shia or sunni. Im neither of the groups and of any other group. Im a muslim just as i consider every other muslim from any other sect even though i hate this word.

thats strange in all the scenerios only shia are innocent and suppressed . and iran only supprt shia even in aunni majority countries like syri iraq and Yemen . world isnt a fool . i live in a very same country from where iran hire filth to fight in syria . al zanabiyoon or etc .

.
We indeed hope & wish for a day that all Muslim countries would enjoy an independent policy as Iran does & stop acting like second rated pawn in american foreign policy apparatus ... in that particular day we could finally find answers for our problems ... countries have choice & some have chosen to serve others' interests ....

Don’t talk about Islam and Muslims if you are ok with allying with Kuffar powers against fellow Muslims.

Both KSA and Iran do it. Both are hypocrites.

Don’t dirty the name of our beautiful faith and message by justifying your supposed state interests in the name of religion.

Both are selfish, egotistical states which only give token service to Islam.

Iran is only slightly better because atleast they have an Islamic system instead of a kingdom.

.
If they have come to their senses then we should get benefits from them and try to improve our relations and clear our misunderstandings , don't be emotional and think logically ...

Do you consider yourself a citizen of Iran? With such a love for Iran you would be better off in Iran than in Pakistan.

I didn't mention word "Shia" in my entire comment and you came with all these base on what?and it's funny you changed the topic from no peace due existence of these groups to a sectarian topic to put Shia versus Sunnis ...
FYI Iraq is a Shia majority country ... FYI we helped Sunni Kurds in Iraq while they were targeted by isis as we helped Sunni Bosni as 15 million Sunnis live in Iran without any problem in peace ... in Syria the problem even isn't about Shia and Sunni ... in Yemen again the problem even isn't about Shia and Sunni ....
By the way I don't have time for your sectarian mindset.
We are bad and we'll burn in hell for eternity ...

Weren't you allied with american/CIA in Afghanistan back in 80s? and again wasn't Pakistan supply route of NATO back in 2001 against Afghanistan again?
& one thing more I talk about Islam whenever I want and it's not your religious or faith to claim ... what I said is a fact that many Muslim countries are not independent and that's a problem ...

1. So were you.

2. You also supported that war.

We were wrong on #2, but Pakistan didn’t completely burn bridges with the prev gov of Afghanistan.

We helped them eventually win that war and today is the result.
