No support to Afghanistan if blame game continues: Pakistan

Pakistan will contribute towards the Afghan peace process but only on the basis of mutual respect and trust and in an environment free from 'recrimination' and 'blame-games.'

Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar said this while speaking to the Ambassador of the Federal Republic Germany, Dr. Michael Koch, who called on her at the Foreign Office to brief her about the recently held Bonn Conference on Afghanistan and about its conclusions, the spokesman at the Foreign Office said in a statement.

On Wednesday President Hamid Karzai blamed Pakistan for what he said was an unprecedented suicide bombing at a Shia shrine in Kabul on the 10th of Moharram. The Afghan president alleged that the bombing originated in Pakistan, and pledged to confront Pakistan about it.

"Pakistan is committed to an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process. But Pakistan looks forward to contributing, as effectively as possible, in an environment free from recrimination and blame-game and on the basis of mutual respect and mutual trust", Khar was quoted as telling Michael Koch.

Pakistan appears to have had enough of the blame game from Afghanistan, especially as fingers were pointed in its direction after the murder of Burhanuddin Rabbani and the recent attack.

Last month a meeting between Prime Minister Gilani and Karzai during the Saarc summit in Maldives did not appear to have mended the ties. Now, Pakistan's military has upped the ante after the Nato carried out an aerial strike, with Pakistan declaring it was boycotting Bonn Conference.

We've done more than enough for them.

Its time they try and get their "country" in order and stop blaming others without proof

how can this be an allegation on pakistan when karzai blames laskare jhangvi, all the time of sectarian violence incidents in pakistan rehman malik keeps regurgitating that laskar e jhangvi is responsible meaning they are responsible for terrorism and are currently holding up in the border region in a sway with fellow militants
pakistan is overreacting no need to be furious over these statements from afghanistan

by saying this karzai makes fun of himself and all ISAF
..150,000 foreighn forces plus thousands of ill trained local security forces collectively couldnt stop one little group from pakistan striking deep inside afghanistan then they rather heed to the supremecy of these groups and go home.

i will also hold responsible PAKISTAN but prove it first , Afghanistan is not secured , planning and tactics can be done in Afgan. no need Pakistan

Afgan is more secure for terrorist then Pakistan

that looks sweet any bombing then it came from Pakistan / any shooting then it was planned in Pakistan hahahahhaha

then if Afgan was so secured why they need NATO ISAF USA

Would you say the same about your security forces when they fail to prevent a terrorist strike in Pakistan originating from Afghanistan ?
Karzai is blaming a terrorist organisation and not Pakistan and the whole world should condemn the dastardly act.

there is drone attacks in Pakistan and military operations most of the time compared to the land mass Afghanistan will be better for terrorist

a good decision from Pak side.
we should scrap the Afghan transit trade agreement as its harming our industry and providing Pakistani currency to Afghans through smuggling.
