No Schengen visa for me: A Pakistani scientist's dilemm

Do you think this could have happened with Indian, SL or Chinese citizen ?

I dont know about other places but in Australia being a Pakistani is thousand times better than being an Indian. For some reason being dark colored is same as being labled as indian. I am not saying pakistanis are being treated any better but Australian racisim has become increasingly more to do with Indians specially Indians who are very dark in color from south india.

What intent of 'doing wrong' is implied by the person's wish to visit the country where he blossomed into a trained professional and spent enough time there to be nostalgic about it?

The question is, are Indians being rejected entry into Australia on grounds of being dark skinned? Institutional racism or lets use the term discrimination is what we are speaking of here...individual racism/discrimination exists the world over, no one can control that.

I don't see any problem with Australia as long as the discrimination is not on a state/policy level..
