Thosr who said pakistan shouldnt have sided to one group..watch and learn..once it becomes bloody & your hospitals get filled up in KPK and with refugees...you are forced to choose sides to end it quicker/sooner

Talibans have come of age, changed their rigid thought process and strategy, there are now different ethnic groups like Tajiks, Uzbeks, Daris, Pashtuns being the bigger group in Talibans...and they have recently given many statements that they don't discriminate against any ethnic group, they are open to women education, other issues...

Most of the news of brutalities written against Taliban was propaganda and a hogwash...served the US/Indian interests. And Taliban has denied many a attacks attributed to them, like bomb attacks on Hospitals...ISIS attacks was blamed on Talibans.

they would like to think that but if that is not possible chances of whom are very high they do like to keep other options open, remember they left Saddam option open for 20 years before invading. Pakistan is not going to come out in the open and announce Pakistan supports Taliban. They saying they will not side with anyone is in itself a recognition.

Not calling OBL a terrorist and absolutely not to giving US bases is preparing a ground for a friendly relation with next government in Kabul. A new begining one might say. Taliban have both the public support and a war machine capable of capturing Kabul. I might not be surprised if behind the veil at some level Pakistan is assisting Afghan taliban. They do have China and Russia on their side.

The only hope for Pakistan to curtail Indian terrorism investment is a pro Pakistan govenment, accepting a compromised mix achar government means India still has a foot stuck in the door and its not completely shut.

Uzbeks tajiks are power ful forces and conquering isnt the solution there..
Taliban have to come to working solution for them to govern their own areas

Kabul should go under an Interim govt. of which talib are party to. Its is the only way forward.. if talib and farsiban cant sit together on it then it's better to balkanize Afghanistan with talib making Kandahar their capital, hazara mazar sharif and tajik with kabul.Pakistan cant afford another civil war in neighborhood with new wave of refugees.
Khorasanis have already started waving their green,black&white flag from 90s under rabbani.

Eventhough many tajiks have joined talib ranks but they know politically it will always be Pashtun entity with little to no chance of a tajik climbing up the leaderahip ladder. This is how politics happens in Afganistan
