What's new

No more new cars or furniture, says king as oil slump forces cuts on Saudi Arabia

Before crying out a river ..
carefully understand what I said and then answer my question.

Your maximum expectation of foreign income is oil industry and the chemical industry which is linked to it.
Saudis can push the prices down to make persians suffer.
Sure it will hurt the GCC; but they will make sure they Iran dies in fetal stage.

The non-oil/gas sector of the GCC is almost twice the size of the entire Iranian economy. GCC has an GDP (nominal) of almost 2 TRILLION dollars. Iranian economy on the other hand is smaller than the economy of 10 million big UAE which is mostly non-oil/gas based to begin with.

Comparisons right now make no sense. Just laughable.

The restriction is for buying cars and furniture for GOVERNMENT AUTHORITIES only and that is only for the remaining months of 2015. This has nothing to do with private purchase. There are thousands of show rooms for cars and furniture all over the country for private buyers to buy from.

Yep, the UAE and especially Dubai, have only 5% of their Economy that relies on oil. Qatar is trying to host many sport events to promote tourism to their country and to build strategic commercial ties with the world. Saudi Arabia's current Economy depends on oil for 75%, and currently we are building Economic and knowledge based cities across the kingdom just for this sole reason, that is, to diversify our economy. As we speak, there are currently more than 200.000 Saudi students studying both in Europe, Far Asia and the US and those will hopefully help us develop the country even more.

Long live the King :D

Let's not be too serious and realistic. This forum does not work this way.

Let this Madali toll have his moment. This is thread number 1 million that he has created about KSA since he joined. He seems like the majority of Farsi users who think that Iran is a world power and that the Mullah's are God's best gift since the creation of women.

Just leave it. I stopped taking this forum seriously long ago. Now it's just banter and occasional ramblings. Will no doubt leave in the near future as well for good (easier said than done).

Our multiple permanently banned troll @2800 is back after creating his user number 105 (Barmin). Being here far too long (the idiot I am on certain fronts) I can almost immediately notice double users and new false flaggers.

For instance Wasteland is now Total-Destruction. Either that or an identical twin.

P.S. I actually support this move. Corruption should be rooted out starting from the House of Saud themselves. One can at least hope!

I know;
but we have to answer them step by step ..

Stupid Persian doens't understand that Iran's fortune too is dependent on oil sales.

Point in case is that Saudis understand this and have enough reserves to see through the squeeze.

What is Ayatoulahs banking upon ?

Look at this bumpkin's style of discussion... Must make your Saudi owners proud....

You've got a long and painful road ahead before you learn to think and talk bumpkin...

But for now just bend over.... your saudi owners want to show their appreciation...

coward government?
pfttt ......
did he ever speak out against israel?did he ever fight directly or indirectly against israel and won?
oh wait non of his predecessor did any of that :bunny::toast_sign::flame::argh:

Because he is a true leader and nationalistic leader and committed to his nation..He understands the importance what is good for his country and his Arab fellow persons and he set his priorities properly...For him, development of his nation is more important than Palestine issue...Palestine issue may be more important for you more than your nation..But not for his leaders...

Oil crisis is only bound to get worse and Saudi opened pandora's box with it's meddling in Syria and Yemen. Lot's of things will change within the midterm future, and nothing remotely good for Saudia.

I have to give it to the Mullahs of Iran, for getting Saudi's entrapped in this whole imbroglio, and absolving themselves of almost all sanctions with just a few concessions. Masterful tactics.

Wait and see, within 10 years time, Iran will be the US's favorite bitch and Saudia & Co will be the "Bad Guys"........ you guys have to love the irony.

Spot on...and accurate...Iran played its card well and US sensed the oppertunity and changed its sides to protect its interests..so do everyone...But honestly, Gulf nations are anyway too big and strong for Iran to challenge by itself...So it was expected any way...

Bullshit what's important is his throne.you are not muslim you won't understand this.

Real Muslims know that the throne is never important,

"Ibn Abbas reported: Allah sent an angel to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, along with the Angel Gabriel, upon him be peace. The angel said, “O Muhammad, Allah the Exalted has given you the choice to be a prophet servant or a prophet king.” The Prophet turned to Gabriel for advice and Gabriel indicated that he should be humble. The Prophet said, “Rather, I will be a prophet servant.” Thereafter the Prophet never ate leisurely until he met his Lord."
