Guys, i didn't want to start a new thread, however check these two images of a recent event.
In the first shot the F-16 is supporting an AMRAAM, in the second image it has disappeared, realistically, how correct is that. ?
However after an inquiry it transpired that after the official photo shoot, during the channeling to mass media, some heart broken individual, presumably an Indian managed to PS the orignal version.

and second does both of them deliver same damage or make same size crater

The bomb used in LGBs or JDAMs are the same as general purpose bombs. The difference is that LGBs get an additional kit on the front where the laser seeker is installed and has fins with the unit, also the rear side gets replaced by a special tail fin unit which combined together with the fins at the front steer the LGB towards its target, achieving remarkable accuracy.

Same with JDAMs, the bomb is a normal bomb as used in the GPBs, but the normal tail fin is replaced by a tail fin which houses the GPS receiver and mechanism to move the tail fins in steering the JDAM towards its target.

The damage done by a general purpose bomb & LGB/JDAM is same, main difference is the highly accurate delivery of LGBs/JDAMs and delivery from a safe distance without putting the aircraft in harms way.
