You can have a million strong presence, the border area is still extremely large to completely cover. The point here is not that attacks will happen, 12 terrorists in 2 groups were both gunned down shortly after contact was established. These were the supposed well trained chaps. They will have the odd success now & then but when compared to the numbers that the Indian state can bring to the fight, the odds are always going to be against the terrorists.

Your idea of resolving the Kashmir issue is not tenable. The Indian state cannot be beaten in this fight and as you will soon see, retaliation for this attack will take a toll on the PA. Has happened before, will happen again.

The Pakistani army should continue doing the good job they are doing in their fight, even if we see it as being selective. Any terrorist killed is good news. We don't mind their help at all except that in the last 25 odd years, they haven't proven to be very good at helping in eliminating terrorists - I can't remember a single occasion when the PA has killed anyone crossing the border into India.

Now why might that be....hmmmmm
