The chicken neck is narrow, so it's easy to think it can be taken easily. The terrain is very difficult, it's not easy.

Couple of flaws in your theory.

1. India shares a border with Myanmar, much longer than the land border between Myanmar and Bangladesh. When Chinese troops begin massing in Myanmar the Indians will mobilize on their side of the border as well.
2. Chinese logistical re-supply lines through Myanmar will be problematic due to poor road and rail infrastructure in Myanmar.
3. You speak of the Chinese navy staging from Myanmar and forget access to the Myanmar coast necessitates the Chinese take the Andaman Islands from India first - there is no way around it.
4. The threat to India's chicken neck from Myanmar is overstated the Chinese already have direct access to India's chicken neck from the north - there is no reason to take a circuitous route via Myanmar.

I doubt Myanmar will get involved in Chinese attack on India. They deal with China precisely because Chinese do not ask them to do anything uncomfortable.

But China has the means to sow chaos because India’s wealth is only concentrated is 4-5 mega cities. Rest of the country is piss poor.

Even Pakistan can completely destroy Mumbai (commercial hub), Bangalore (IT hub) and Delhi (capital).

That’s enough to send it back 50 years.

In a conventional warfare , you can't capture any land without ground force.

Even if you send marine ( like mighty USA marine) still you have to deploy army later to hold it.

Even although Marine can fast capture , but can't hold long time! Let alone other forces!

So if you want to hold an area , army is required!
