No force can stop the desire for freedom, says Dalai Lama

^^^
He is a respected spiritual man for millions of Buddhists world wide including the people of Tibet.

Show some respect for a man of that stature. You can differ about his visions or opinions, but insulting him like that wont you give any self satisfaction or pride for your religion or nation.

This is a human tragedy, really nothing funny.

Dalai Lama versus Dorje Shugden
Is His Holiness Practicing Religious Persecution?

Dalai Lama doesn't even represent the whole of Tibetan Buddhism, much less Tibetan Buddhism worldwide. He is only the head of one sect of Tibetan Buddhism. There are at least four major sects in Tibet. His sect, being the biggest of the four, persecutes the rest of them. Religious Freedom? That would be news to Dalai Lama.

I'd be interested in hearing what Indian admirers of the DL say in his defense. God knows, I've heard enough of the "DL is a holyman who is loved by millions and therefore can do no wrong" logic expressed here.
