CD, actually none of the political parties are anti-china, they are simply nervous about it because of our pending issues. (it's the damn media that is anti-china for no sane reason)
We can be the greatest allies if our administrations can solve the disputes.Trust me on this, one friendly gesture from china will be doubly reciprocated by GOI
I think I speak for every Indian that we greatly admire what china has achieved, so we'd certainly prefer GOI to be friendly to China

Look at the current leadership of our two respective countries. There are some extremely clever people in charge.

They understand that cooperation is the way forward in the modern world. So I'm not too worried.

PN, I implore you not to pay attention to our media. They are new to the spotlight and get carried away very easily. The ground reality is very different, when I visited delhi few months back most people greatly admire china's rise. and I'm sure you saw how warmly Indians welcomed Pakistan at the commonwealth games.

BJP and Congress are political parties that will always criticize each other..... So their positions will be polar opposite from one day to the next depending on the issue and time....

Because that's China's fault, that the Indian government doesn't play the game well.

Indian Govt. is playing the game well. Last time when China was refused for war games in Indian ocean the pressure was on India to give an excuse. This time we have an excuse and better one. War games with China is never appreciated by south block. India's previous intentions is the key to this whole issue. Parity with China is in camouflage not in disclose, rest is window dressing.
