No country for brave men

Pakistan as a nation is absolutely blinded the religious bigotry, the same people who raise slogan of Islam-A religion of peace are justifying the killing of a person just because he saw a controversial law (which has destroyed lives of people) with a rational look. I was myself stunned when i saw my own mom telling me that what ever happened to that Governor was absolutely right & the one who killed him has done it perfectly right & that murderer should be released. I am yet to meet a person who has not not justified this murder.

& then of course this religiously blinded & emotional nation of ours sends some really creepy assholic sorta SMS's congratulating each other over the departure of a 'wajib-ul-qatal' Muslim. We are congratulating each other on someone's murder, whats next? Shame on all of us!

Sir he was a part of Government nd its a duty of current isalmic government to punish a person who was denying the Islamic rule and it is ordered to a Islamic country's governor to protect the rules of ISLAMIC NATION
Did any of these supporters (Who now we know many are lawyers aswell) tried legal procedures like registering a FIR????

.
A very bad chapter has been opened in Pakistan's poliitical and religious books by the death of this governer. Things were pretty bad enough and now look at this. This wave will probably shock the immediate muslim neighbours as well.

.
Come on huda, for the sake of your own country think rational for just one time. I as an outsider see things in horror, but some people are just happy to see what has happened.

.
Killing people because a Muslim is unable to refute an argument made them is dishonoring 'your Deen'.

Any religion that uses violence to 'protect its honor' is worthless and a curse on humanity.

And my interpretation of Islam does not justify violence for Blasphemy or any other perceived 'insult' - my Islam is a religion of true peace.

IF Taseer did anything wrong, then he must have been put on trial, and if proved guilty, must have been hung. But, killing like this is no punishment, but a cold blooded murder.

Yeah right, the immediate Muslim neighbor is already dysfunctional to the core. The Presidents brother is the largest drug dealer I mean Pharmacist in the country. Nothing is further going to shock the immediate Muslim neighbor or add to it. Trying to prepare blame on Pakistan in advance to save face for the immediate Muslim neighbor, may be clever but wrong and incorrect.

FIR against whom? when these ppl don't accept the court verdicts and when ppl r convicted they pardon them ( rehman malik etc) and if someone gets the verdict those same ppl ( ST ) who must respect the law goto the prison and say she will get pardoned depsite the court ruling, now who is not accepting the law?

I think you just insulted me and i am so angry and i think the only punishment is to hang you.... And i believe that if i take legal action i wont get justice.....So give me your address so that i can come and kill you.....

Now tell me do you think i should agree with your logic.???

If someone get convicted and govt don't follow the order of killing him then i am with you....

Plus forgiving the punishment is Presidents right under constitution. If you don't agree with that you are also saying the same thing Taseer said that Flaws in the law....And i am again angry

Yeah whatever, why don't you get a grip? You act as if the nation is going to hell. Salman Taseer should have been kept in prison, the man who was once the most corrupt man in Punjab is gone. If Pakistani judicial system had been better they would have him in prison or subprison and for his violation of power and laws as Governor. See here in the US a financial scandal can end the career of a politician, Salman Taseer knew of no consequence.

The Supreme Court should have imprisoned ST along with others who are leeches to Pakistan. Zardari as well should be imprisoned for stealing money from the State Bank and his black hand dealings.

I said immdiate neigbhours, so that includes iran and bangladesh as well. there is always chance and possibility of going down no matter how down you are. in terms of religion, whatever happens in one country, it can affect the other one as well. yes, we are in a pretty bad shape, but it can get even worse.

By the way, why do you change your flags so frequently?

this tragedy is not about Taseer only, do you understand this? do you realize how a dangerous path pakistan has taken after the death of this governer? i doubt if you have any idea.

I don't even believe some (sure some are genuine and I totally respect that) these people who argue against this situation are genuine. Maybe some.

What if Zia ul Haq had been assassinated in 2011 by his body guard, would those people who are politically against Zia ul Haq still condemn the murder? I don't think so.

They condemn it because probably it's a man who they politically agree with, which is sad because the fact is ST was the most corrupt man in Punjab.

So would those people still be crying "murder"?....

Something to think about...
