No Comparison

When ever you see threads like " I have a cousin in ....... who said that Indians are ....... in comparison to Pakistani, you should know that its a troll thread.

A few years ago a fellow staff member was approached by a female on Facebook who felt rather "inspired" by his good looks. She was rather flirty and suggested a meeting at a private hotel. Common sense kicked into this fellow's head and he reported it to our superiors who got the authorities to trace the female. It turns out that the so called female was a 9-11 scam artist who was in fact a huge male. Which leaves me to wonder about the identity of these so-called IAF female pilots

There is no comparison. IAF female inductees have zero future in combat and are not exposed to the idea of being combat pilots from the get go as compared to their PAF counterparts. Additionally, the PAF has been ahead of the IAF in terms of really pushing females into these roles( a smart decision or not is to be debated). While the IAF still is hesitant about females taking a role in warfare, the PAF has decide to push them onto combat training and ADA roles.
So no comparison between two different training processes.

Not exactly, he knows them well through other means as well.

Well The question raised by OP is already answered in OP itself...... and Look at the heading, It says NO comparison but yet it is getting compared..... I agree with your post that both cannot be compared, both the pilots are trained for different purposes, and the comparison will be some thing like comparing F 16/Jf 17 vs C 130 or IL 76

@nair, the dilemma is people jump to conclusions just by reading the thread title or even name of the OP without grasping the psyche of the subject......hence let me make it simple, the point of being same or equal was raised by the IAF pilots, my own judgement was that there's no comparison alas the thread title, but had people bothered reading the OP, i did raise the question about other members opinion...... the opinion was directed on the subject at hand but as can be seen, the usual suspects and their leaders have created an opportunity to give their worthless opinion on me rather than the topic...... now how difficult is that to comprehend. !!!!

Of course no comparison for IAF took a logical and intelligent route whereas PAF, despite of limited funds, opted for inducting females in 'supposedly' combat role, which is nothing but waste of precious resources.

My point remains relevant, You are aware of the roles played by both the pilots right? How can they both be compared? (By the way i did read the Op, title )

Well I dont think that was the point OP wanted to discuss...... If PAF has taken a stand to provide combat role to female pilots, i am sure they must have debated, deliberated and then they came to the conclusion......Our judgement on this may not be right

Bhai it was showbazi, a directive came from Gen Musharraf, and ACM and officers below him followed the suite. Have all the eligible males in Pakistan got jobs that we are now recruiting females in military? if someone wants to learn how to waste scarce resources on cosmetic things, they should consult us.

If the decision was made based on showbazi (as suggested) then i dono how one gonna use them..... But my question is Mushraff left military 6 years back right? Was there any further recruitment/deputation???? If yes then it is not showbazi, they mean business.....

Hon Sir,

You have hit the nail on the head. IMO best use of female pilots was by the British & the US during WW2. Female pilots were used for non combat mission such as ferrying the fighters & bombers to the airbases from production facilities. This freed male pilots for the combat duty.
