Nitin Gadkari effect takes the cabinet by storm - The Economic Times

MUMBAI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi unexpectedly showered praise on Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari for 'outstanding performance.'

Known for taking his cabinet colleagues to task for dismal performances, Modi observed that ambitious projects, which were gathering dust for well over a decade, were completed by Gadkari in a brief span of 15 months.

In corridors of power, it is believed that Gadkari has indeed taken the otherwise insignificant departments of transport and shipping by storm and has made the entire bureaucracy more accountable.

An administrator par excellence, Gadkari has set a target of constructing 15-km road per day and reviews it on a daily basis. To ensure clean and transparent administration, Gadkari has set a new system so that there is no scope of charges of corruption or irregularities against him.

Each and every proposal, irrespective of the cost, is personally brought to the notice of the PM and is later submitted before the cabinet for approval. Now, the Gadkari effect is seen all over, as most cabinet members are following him, particularly when it comes to approval of new projects.

What else can you expect in Modi's India.
....Just wait for sickular parasites e.g. @The_Showstopper, who would discredit Modi for this too, due to their personal grudge against him. Their grudge is up to the pathological level and have no cure (and nobody cares):coffee:
Modi is the best man to be PM and he is the best PM India had.
Ofcourse, there are vested intrest like Sakshi Maharaj, who discredit and derail the growth engines, but so are these types in form of @The_Showstopper,Owasi, Azam Khan and others at other spectrum.
Muslims too are realizing this, but exceptions are every where.:coffee:

One of the few ministers who is performing as per our expectations.Smriti Irani & Parrikar should learn something from him

. . . .
I would disagree on both counts, yes .....even on Smriti Irani

Parrikar has been talking about the new DIPP for years & smriti has achieved 0 in her 1.5 year tenure

Gadkari, Piyush Goyal and Our very own Railway Minister are doing excellent job.

I agree, also can you post the achievements of Piyush Goyal here

. .
Listing would be difficult. But you can notice the initiatives on his Twitter account. Just some 2-3 days before he has announced reopening of stopped LNG power plants in India. But as electricity from LNG is slightly costly, so he has got help from Railways, which has promised to buy electricity from them.
