Nirbhay likely to be test-fired in April

Shaurya is a Ballistic missile like Agni or Prithvi.

Brahmos, and Nirbhay are cruise missiles, completely different category.

Completely different category...yes...but ballistic missile ...No!...you can ask any DRDO scientist or army personnel...the Shaurya is different.

doc any news of k-15 launch it supposed to be testfire on march 4 ..or india did it screatively ?

well no idea mate ,may be it is postponed on technical grounds . But as per sources the next test was supposed to be around march 16 -19.So better wait

shaurya is a quasi ballistic missile ,not ballistic missile

Only thing ballistic about Shaurya is that it has solid fueled engine same as in ballistic missiles however it never leaves the
atmosphere and can maneuver so possibly more cruise than ballistic..........
Since it does not leave the atmosphere it is probably follows a hi-lo-lo trajectory.......


P.S. can anyone tell me if nirbhay can drop the warhead and return back to its base, or if that concept is even ready or no?

No it cannot...Because the warhead is integrated into the vehicle and the vehicle is always sacrificed in the mission.
