^^^ In order to get a permanent seat you have to pass a resolution for UN reform. Otherwise it won't even get to the voting stage, it's a different situation from what happened with JuD.

That resolution will be vetoed by China. So sad luckyyy, maybe come back in 20 years and ask again.

Read what you wrote, we voted in FAVOUR of the Iranian sanctions. Because China doesn't want instability regarding the oil supplies from the Middle East.
