Next on RSS' plate: Making sure families dine together, and no smartphones while eating

Cow is current symbolic thing for insulting Hindus.
The other day during the protests by "fake Dalits" I could see people insulting Hindu gods openly on Tv and there was no outrage.

I was left wondering what would have happened if similar thing had happened to other secular religions.

I blame the Hindus for not standing up for their self respect and dignity.

Centuries of slavery has sapped our will and Yogi and Modi can only do so much.

.
Sir, dumbness on TV is still dumbness and rarely dangerous.

If at all we want to ban things in India, I can quote hundred dangerous which ought to be banned right now but won't be for secular reasons.

While I understand your point about meandering serials, the same be extended for any sporting activity that now a days happens in prime time or debates on TV or even "news", which have long ceased to be anything but news.

Point I hope you are making is that there is lot of TV & other external activities that have forced themselves into family time and it's not good - Which I will gladly agree to.
Indians love to watch TV serials. They prefer soaps more than anything. News have ceased to be news, I agree but a tv serial has more effect in family relationships than anything. If a fictional character talks a and behaves in an unnatural way on TV, there is every chance of a little kid emulating those unnatural things in its real life. So I feel some sort of moderation is indeed necessary to bring quality in what we are watching.

You want to bring back "Value systems" into society ? So that such values are also reflected in "TV serials" ?

Are you sure that is what you really want ?

Because that starts with banning Cow Slaughter.

And if you haven't figured that out by now, you never will.

Why did you think our ancient Hindu Rishis spoke about this in such great detail in almost every Hindu scriptures ?

Cow slaughter should be banned in a constitutional manner. It's already in our directive principles. It only needs the state government to be agreed upon. If they don't then election is the solution. Why we should make it look like we are forcing it on people by abusing their fundamental rights?

.
What a foolish logic equating burning religious books with beef. I would have conceded your point if non hindus were demanding their right to burn Geeta or Ramayana.

People were okay even with ban on cow slaughter. You Sanghi loons crossed the limit when they banned cattle slaughter altogether (including buffallo) which is not considered holy.

These lunatics deprived the only major source of meat protien from a large section of population with their bigoted diktats.

By that same logic, burning the bile and cross is also not bigotry

Why should I look around the globe when India is the only Hindu country in the world ? (except for Nepal)

Are you saying that asking Hindus to imitate christians and muslims around the world is NOT BIGOTRY ?

Christian bigots like you issuing certificates to Hindus is the biggest joke of "secular" India.

This is the end result of your "secularism" in kerala.

Sure. That is why we should promote burqa to prevent Rape.

The mullah's gave a similar "cause and effect" theory, you would be twin brothers.

Let us also ban violence in movies since they too have a effect on private lives.

Next in the list is p0rn sites and p0rn magazines , since they too have an effect on private lives.

Next can be cigarettes and alcohol.

Only thing that SHOULD be allowed is COW SLAUGHTER  .......... That is the epitome of "freedom". lol.

Constitutional change cannot come without a massive Voice of the people. So far, everything done is constitutional.

There is no requirement for the State govt. to "agree" to the law. IF its the Law, the state has no choice BUT to implement it. Its not subject to their whims.

Eating cow meat is not a "fundamental right" any more than eating "human flesh " is.

Let me call you out here.
Do you know the biggest ban on food on this earth is not Hindus banning beef.
Do you know what it is?

It is 1.5 billion people who can't eat pork because it is prohibited.
They are banned to eat for religious reasons and the world does not blink to this restriction
BUT
you will cry when Hindus do the same thing based on religion.

The double standards are sickening.

A living cow is no less valuable than a Gita or a Ramayan. In fact, by all standards its MORE valuable.

Its slaughter is the equivalent of desecrating your "holy" book.

A Cow is a living entity which has a social contract with Hindu society. Your "holy" book is just a piece of paper and some ink. Your cross is just a piece of dead wood or plastic.

Who the Fcuk are you to set "Limits" on us ? Guess what? the British and the british raj that set "limits" is LONG GONE.

Now there are NO Limits, only our desire and our CHOICE to exercise our rights and freedoms to change the law to suite OUR values.

The next time you want meat protein, you can start digging up your dead and eat them. Better still source it fresh from the morgue. That way you will not need any extra valuable land for your dead and your greed for "meat protein" can also be satisfied.

Now I hope you do not bring "religion" into this debate and show your Bigotry

.
Yes...I am eating beef stew as I am writing this...
Eating beef is not bigotry. Killing people over eating beef is bigotry. Get your head checked outside India.
Look around the globe and tell me one place where people are killed over eating beef!
Sanghis are a special case. A nut case.

Please bear with us! We Hindus, will force it down on the likes of you.

Cow substitute to mother and God, says Hyderabad HC judge
Sagarkumar Mutha| TNN | Updated: Jun 10, 2017, 12.15 AM IST

HYDERABAD: A Hyderabad high court judge said on Friday that cow is "sacred national wealth" which is a "substitute to Mother and God". The observation comes days after a Rajasthan HC judge had said that cow should be declared a national animal.

While dismissing the plea of a cattle trader from whom 63 cows and two bulls were seized, Justice B Siva Sankara Rao of Hyderabad HC quoted from a Supreme Court order and said that it is a settled legal position that there is no fundamental right to Muslims to insist on slaughter of healthy cows on the occasion of Bakrid.

The judge also directed that veterinary doctors of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh who drive healthy cows to slaughter houses by fraudulently certifying that they are unfit for giving milk should be brought under the penal net of the AP Cow Slaughter Act, 1977. He also directed that the Act should be amended and the offences under it should be made non-bailable and cognizable.

In Andhra and Telangana, slaughter of cows is allowed if they are certified to be old and unproductive.

Cattle trader Ramavath Hanuma had moved the HC after a trial court in Nalgonda had rejected his petition for custody of 65 bovines which were seized from him. The cattle were seized from Kanchanapalli village and Hanuma had insisted that he had brought them there for grazing. The prosecution had alleged that Hanuma, along with other accused, had bought the cattle from farmers for slaughtering them so that cow meat could be distributed during the Bakrid festival.

Dismissing Hanuma's plea, Justice Rao said there was no need to interfere in the trial court's order. "Whether a person is entitled to claim interim custody of cows and bulls seized from him when he was allegedly taking them to a slaughter house? This question needs to be posed and answered in view of the national importance of cows which are substitutes to Mother and God," Justice Rao said in his order.

The judge said that Emperor Babar saw the wisdom of prohibiting the slaughter of cows as a religious sacrifice and directed his son Humayun to follow this example. He added that emperors Akbar, Jehangir, and Ahmad Shah had also prohibited cow slaughter.

The judge also sought amendment of Section 11 and 26 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 and to consider enhancement of punishment on par with IPC section 429 which carries jail term up to five years.

What a foolish logic equating burning religious books with beef. I would have conceded your point if non hindus were demanding their right to burn Geeta or Ramayana.

What a bigoted logic?

You can kill a living Creature.

But we cannot burn a "BOOK" or a symbol made out of "TWO INTERSECTING WOODS"??? Which are made FROM SKELETON OF DEAD TREE.

Yup, families dining together is NOW BAD folks :D

Waiting on secular liberals of India to kick out their children and parents on to the road during dining time.
Exactly, how can dining together, that too once a week, be bad.
I m no fan of RSS and its illegitimate children Bajrang Dal n VHP and its grandchildren such as Hindu sena et all, however, this is a very good suggestion by the former and it needs to be implemented by ourselves.
Just bcoz the idea came from a communal organization, doesn't make it a bad one.
.........unless someone explain me the bad repercussions of this ....

Muslims dont eat pork but they are not forcing you to avoid pork. Thats the difference here.

What happened to your "logic" of depriving people of "meat protein" ?

Why don't you go and promote pork eating to your fellow muslims ? First PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH you hypocrite.

YOU show no such restraint when promoting beef to Hindus

But they are forcing people for NOT TO MAKE CARTOON and forcing people NOT TO BURN THE BOOK.

DO YOU SEE THE SIMILARITY???

Is that why you continue to vote for LDF or CONGress in Kerala ?

Because you support a "bad thing" ? LOL at your hypocrisy.
