my friend's father died last night just before 12 AM, every one was celebrating while they were mourning in the hospital and at that moment I realized why Islam forbids us from these ridiculous things and may be he wasn't the only one who died yesterday.

?? What are you talking about? I'm the one who agrees with him that fireworks on New Years is a waste of money. Countries that do it should stop and use that money for teachers and the poor...especially if like he says he's watching local tv and city after city and town after town are reporting blowing 1-3 million on them. That's just crazy.

Guess where he got those pictures of homelessness..from pictures of LA homeless. He did a specific search on it.

Why is some Pakistani/Chinese targeting pictures of the LA homeless (on the other side of the planet) in some thread about cities spending 1-3 million on fireworks instead of spending that on the homeless/teachers..which doesn't apply to the US since we don't normally shoot off fireworks on New Years.

And he is right. Do pretend that I dont understand your culture, boy. When stores like walmart sells pretty large fireworks you know there is a lrqge demand for it, in that country. Making your country look innocent was a cute idea, but no one buys it.

What are you talking about? What does Walmart have to do with cities buying millions in fireworks? Walmart doesn't sell professional fireworks. Cities don't buy their stuff at Walmart. You are just trying to figure out a way of rationalizing things because you know I am correct.

Nope, it's you that isnt trying to understand what I am saying. Walmart equals acceptability and a demand for the product. I was hinting at the mass use of fireworks by the citizens. Which would amount more then what the government spends on it.
