Did they shoot down a hypersonic speed surface to air missile with a laser.
isn't that star wars program all over again,
swp if nobody knows, it were a ground prototype anti-ICBM ,and after spending billions of usd dollars the american government went to public and said the hole program were a waste of money because of the speed of both the missile and the laser beam made it impossible to collide.
now they want to shoot it from a moving jet <facepalm>.
