What's new

New vehicle tested at HIT?

Yaar, any one can see that, but the point in matter is the designation displayed.

but some fanboy just copied the picture of the tank from the game and wrote Ak-2 on top of it.

Anybody can do that......... it has nothing to do with Al-Khalid 2 in reality

thanks anyway

Guys, you have missed one very major thing.

Check the AK tank when its going in the reverse. It says AL Khalid 1, which means AK 1 is a reality and the talk of AK 2 isn't a rumor or fan boy stuff, rather that is a reality too.

How can you guys miss the AK 1 ???

:)

I have noticed it too:D

And one other good thing to be seen is the Bullet proof jacket being shown to the general, it means the HIT have started to manufacture them at home, thus we don't have to import them and can slowly equip the whole army.

In the other thread, where pictures have been posted, you can see one of the jackets with bullet holes and the markings of bullet holes in them and the officer showing the general the armor plate.

Good going.

Many Pakistani companies like Cavalier are already making Kevlar Vests but we have had to import Molle vests from the U.S since they offer much better protection, the Pakistani models left the shoulders bare but the molle vest covers the shoulders too.
As soon as this design flaw is overcome, we will move back to the local stuff.
I couldn't find Cavalier's website so i picked up their online job profile.

Yeah i know private sectors are making these jackets with few things being imported, but they are costly too. If HIT or AWC start making it, the cost would be less compared to the private sector.

I had called up on of the private bullet proof jacket importer/manufacturer and the simple jacket with neck covering without groin cover and arms cover cost Rs.50K, while with groin protection around 55K and the US army standard something called PASGARD or something like that costed Rs.80+K and it had groin, arms cover and some additional plates to stop G3 claiber bullets, so just imagine what the cost would be for just one vest.

HIT has experience in armored vehicles production, and it can apply this experience in their own bullet proof jackets research and manufacturing, and the prices hopefully would be much less compared to private sector.
