New members should not be allowed to open new threads.

Some trolls are joining the forum just to open stupid threads, and generally such members vanish within a few days. I am of the opinion that new members should not be allowed to open new threads before one becomes a full member, or at least completes 50 posts.

There can be a separate Introduction Section and a new member should be allowed to open only one Intro thread in that section only.

There is a troll that i know who create irrelevant threads but as soon as we spot him we spam delete him.

We can't disable those privileges because we can't stop a troll

The PDF forum book states that only "full members" (those with 100+ posts) can open a thread. That seems to be a reasonable requirement, given the prolific serial spamming going on over the past few days. It should make your job easier, if you abide by that rule.

A minimum of 50 posts should be the rule before being allowed to open a thread.

There are trolls who start threads with 2 posts . the quality of this forum has declined due to these people . Hope the Mods take action.
