What's new

New Chinese Weapons

Yeah, but they are copying everything. Nothing new. But i guess as long as it helps, why not.

Hi,

All defence weaponery is reverse engineered. As a matter of fact all technology is reverse engineered.

. .
Arrow paint job?
India doesnt even have arrow! ROFL!! It only got the greenpine radar from the Arrow set. Get your facts straight.

.
Reverse engineer, steal designs, etc, etc.
Good to see you making:tup:

Malay, Reverse engineer is a very important embranchment of R&D,and itself relies on well technical background.

Will you feel lucky or dispirited, if I say that China never steals any design from India?:P

.
Right,man
but they buy,we make:);) :army:

Robin is a lovely guy:D Indians dont really want them though.you know they can buy superior things from all sides.

Nevertheless,No pains by technical block,no gains of indigenous products.

While national power is never built up by purchase, nor by license production.

But it does create industry which eventually transforms into inhouse designs.

If you look at Pakistan... They managed to copy and move beyond that. They co-developed JF17 after assisting ideas about a trainer (K8). Now they will be able to move towards more Pakistani designs...

Same goes for India. Whether it is Arjun, IJT, Druv or MKI-assembly... It will move into more inhouse technology. Not bad for nations.

It all started from FT-6, FT-5 trainers.. we then moved into Mushak -> Super Mushak -> K-8 -> now JF-17 and may be in the future something more advanced.

Of course you know this, just adding it for some who dont.

I do agree that the frustrated Arjun may also help improve Indian expertises in despite of a very dear tuition. But things are different for Pakistan, they do co-developing and then moving back home, with no copy at all, which shows higher efficiency.

Pakistan CANNOT design as of now. It only buys from China and produces at home.
