A small, short skirmish that's called the Second Lebanon war showed the tactical superiority of Israel over Hezbollah. Hezbollah got pushed back and could only kill 1 Israeli soldier for every 7 terrorists killed. Unfortunately Israeli policy wasn't absolutely bombing the **** out of every Shia village and disregarding any civilian casualties without any warning, and was instead commanded to blow up a bunch of empty fields with 200,000 artillery shells. That's the result of Olmert's and Dan Halutz's incompetence.
However the Israeli soldier was far better trained than the average Hezbollah terrorist, and in every engagement Israel was tactically superior. The fact that the proudest point of Hezbollah was the Battle of Bint Jbeil, a battle with only 17 Israeli casualties and 70 Hezbollah casualties, shows how delusional Hezbollah is.
Attacked behind lines? lmfao. Now you're making up history.
What resulted from this small skirmish? Israel recovered instantly and is now ahead of even most Western European countries, whereas Lebanon is in a political and economical mess. Another "victory" like this for Lebanon, and there's no more Lebanon. And that's considering Israel acts soft like in 2006, which it won't in the next war.
Israel countered every Iranian weapon, when enough laser systems get in service, the billions you spent on building all those rockets and drones would go to waste, for just a penny on the dollar from Israel's side.
