New 4 Little Dragons in Asia

.
You mean like Vietnam begging for US for weapons and setup base in your country?
it is the US that wants bases in VN. I think that will come, sooner or later. the US gives us money, we build 100 artificial islands, and give one or two to the US for lease. China is like former Germany that seeks war.

.
not singapore. it is you who licks chinese boot. I bet you know how to kowtow :D

the chinese claim the entire SC sea. you keep silent. they staged naval excercises before your door step. you said seeing nothing. it is up to you, if you think playing appeasement politics will maximise your friendship to china. I don´t mind if they enslave you. oh it happens already :woot:

I suggest you study the consequences of the appeasement politics of nevil chamberlain, the former british prime minister. he sold out parts of czech republic to germany, just to please aldolf hitler and avoid war. all just to gain friendship with germany. chamberlain was a dreamer. he was naive. back then, all knew germany would have more and more influence in the future especially in europe. replacing germany with china. so as malaysia today.

1. They didn't claim the entire SEA.
2. Our leaders and the people don't have to jump up and down because of some action taken by China. We have other bigger issues to deal with.
3. Trade and diplomatic relation between Malaysia and China is good, we can sit down (behind the close door) and talk. We don't have to go down to the street and burn some factories.
4. Some of our politicians are selfish and like to talk shxt (internally) sometime, but they are not stupid.

You forgot to ask Russia's permission , p1ss Russia is not an option for Vietnam.

Since the USA adjusted its economic and millitary strategy in Asia.
Now, Vietnam, Indonesia , Philipine, Malaysia will become 4 New little dragons in Asia.
Form now on, there a lots of factories, firm, business, financial are moving to these countries and lower down china position , then, USA will remain the same power in the world. Also ban selling advance and high tech tecnology and weapons to china.
yes, I see the future of china is dark, remembering me of the last days of the Ming :(

I thought you are suppose to be "one of the most reasonable and respected Vietnamese" on PDF. I guess I can't be right all the time.

1. yes, you are right. the chinese claim 90% of the SC sea, not 100%. lucky malaysia? :haha:
2. your leaders have no balls. surprisingly, you malays play racial cards at home.
3. what talk? about malaysian foods? they suck. I don´t like your foods. your taxi service sucks, too.
4. no comment. personally I like the principle of rotating head od state in malaysia.

OK, go ahead. Go offensive (instead of playing smart) at all the potential competitor just to show ur countrymen have bigger balls. See what you get.... history will prove....

And of course, keep living in your dream.

Very true, but consider what Vietnam had go through since the last 150 years (combined with sanctions from both China and the USA at peace time). Out development is nothing short of a miracle and had rely on our own hands. There is much to be proud of this progress. I hope in the near future, Vietnam gpd per capita will reached Malaysia and the people will enjoyed more things. They deserved it, after all the shits that they went through.

Vietnam has a lot of potential, best wishes from Shanghai!

. . .
They wanna occupy the whole ASIA!

LOL!

Back to topic, I am very optimistic about SE Asia. Numerous threads (maybe you can post some links? like that about Factory Asia) here talked about how SE Asia is going into a boom of manufacturing. The giants like Indonesia and Thailand doing well, Philippines already successful in some services (e.g. ADB HQ, world's calling center), Vietnam picking up momentum, Malaysia poised to become the second developed country in ASEAN, and all are among the world's fastest growing economies!

ASEAN+East Asia, will be the dominant region in the ongoing century. I have no confidence in the others.
People here are not just ambitious but are and will be doing. This point is a major difference between SE+E Asia and some of the other places
