I understand. But can't help. If you want a system that will last a few years check the FX processors from AMD. MSI and Gigabyte (also ASUS) have some of the best motherboards for that.

yeah..i built one with fx6300 and asus mobo. this is the old one..i will try to find an am2 phenom somewhere. i have 4 gb ddr2 ram on it. good pc..justs shuts down now. a good cooler with phenom will rock this combo. albeit with xp. but i'm ok with that. u stay in jammu ?

sometimes logging into Hotmail/ outlook account is a real pain. the site demands a security code to be sent to a designated email and all that due to a suspicious activity

has any one experienced that? today when I eventually got access to my inbox after logging to another Hotmail account to retrieve the security code I was told that someone in USA had logged into my Hotmail today like 3 times. I changed the password after that but not sure if that fixes the issue

any comments?

Malwarebytes is asking for your PC to get a considerable hit in performance, and to damage your RAM and your CPU.

Best way to not get malware is to NEVER EVER download using "Recommended Settings".Always check what you are downloading, and use it from sites that are credible.



You have to understand the difference first between malware and viruses, malware enters your system with your permission, and so it does not register as a virus, what malware does is basically find a way to get your permission without you knowing you gave it. That is in a nutshell "Download using recommended settings". See my post above.

I sometimes check the non system processes running in the task manager and disable those that I dont recognize, this way I once caught a key logger. which refused to to be removed this way and I followed the anti virus and anti malware process to remove it.
I agree I also watch out while downloading freeware where they offer a non related software for good video experience or free PC speed test. they I know are mostly infested with malicious programs

Flash 8 is way too old, but you can work on it. Latest versions are hell different. Major difference is, Flash 8 used ActionScript 2 which these latest version don't support it if I'm not wrong. Till Flash CS4, which I last used, AS 2 was still supported. But for the stuff you're talking about, flash 8 will work.

someone got me a pirated copy but one of the disks was missing a required zipped file in these sequence so entire install failed
I dont have any way of getting a freebee copy I would rather work on new CS versions to get used to new code etc

Phenom X2 550 and others were superb processors, if only slightly dated today. But since you are trying to resurrect(I believe) an old mobo lying around, it's your best bet. Check for the OC/Black edition that allows you to unlock a third core. Will be difficult to find though.

Phenom X2 550 and others were superb processors, if only slightly dated today. But since you are trying to resurrect(I believe) an old mobo lying around, it's your best bet. Check for the OC/Black edition that allows you to unlock a third core. Will be difficult to find though.

yeah yeah...phenoms are good sh!t..i'll find one..erodov...sp road hunting..yup..it will rock this mobo. all i need is a noctua to cool it. it will start shooting bullets.....

Check for Lenovo's Ideapad series and HP's Ultrabooks. If you are a Mac guy you can bump it up by 5k and settle for a Macbook Air.

I can tell you which one "NOT" to take

DELL.. run away from it like a plague. both its home and corporate laptops suck badly. flimsy, slow, unreliable and breakdown with regular blue screens of death.
