2) In addition to that, line losses, or energy wastage resulting from transmission of energy across power lines, was reduced by 1.5 per cent, saving up to 2 billion rupees.

3)Increase in recovery of outstanding dues by 11 billion and counting, positive impacts of 13 billion and counting

4)Power division in coordination with the provincial task-forces is actively carrying forward the campaign against power theft/pilferage in all the provinces.” gang was recently busted for “facilitating power pilferage by tampering electricity meters through a software.”

What fueld adjustment. Have you compared the fuel prices with unit cost?

If govt is incompetent enough to collect tax from thieves and looters. Then how its common man fault who is already paying 15-22pkr per unit most probably highest in whole south asia or asia region.

Govt. Is getting greedy for easy money rather than fixing leaks and corruption. They are trying to fulfil imf goals using common man as easy money. Even in recent report 40% Generation was from hydel which costs from 3-5 PKR max.

So every one please look into reality first before approving every govt. Act. Govt is already clueless about price control. They are no where to be seen.

The government is gradually meeting its commitment to the IMF to remove energy subsidies, that is all.

I can share my bill, want you to point out any subsidy by the govt. Subsidy is a myth now. Its not there any more. only for those who uses 50-100 or i think 200 units. With 1 refrigerate, fan, bulb, tv you will easily cross 200 unit mark.

What i felt why they have increased the rates are because winter has started and there will be less demand. But govt wants more money. In some cases they have actual contracts with power plants based on their capacity rather that what ever govt. will use. So govt. have to pay back that + theft + unpaid consumers + line losses.

It just shows govt. ineptness and high level of incompetency.

Lol, I have tried to apply many times, but number of seats are too less and applicants are in thousands and now days mostly vacancies are to make contract employees permanent.

Sorry to say but the PtI government has lost its credibility and its support amongst the public is receding fast. I was hoping they had s plan but they are turning out to be worse than the last ones.
