How does one find out how many devices are connected to one's wifi router?

I have a router which I had configured from my laptop and have 4 more devices connected to it apart from the laptop. I had to format my laptop so there's no installed software of the router present on it.

All devices are working fine, but the connection slows down a bit also there is high unusual consumption of data allotted to my connection and it usually runs out faster now though the usage is the same.

Is there some way I can know of the number of devices that's connected to the router? I suspect someone's hacked it and using my connection.

you should make it password protected.

didn't you make it password protected.

It is password protected - the password works for the first time till the connections made after that you just need to switch on the devices and the devices automatically connect. My question is can I know how many devices are connected to my router?

Go to web based router configuration page and you can view the connected devices, also can restrict the devices you want to.

Which brand/model of router do you use?
