Well thats extremely worrisome, they could easily shoot down airliners a few kms away from any bigger airport if they manage to get even one launcher and a missile a bit deeper into the country.

No these weapons are generally Russian designs made locally. They might now be world class but effective.

Some guns are used as i have myself seen a lot of SVDs have the red label..."please remove before use" which means it is a surrendered weapon.
