I lost count of how many "tha" in his press conference.

The english of the ptv channel.

Ofcourse but the issues are the present the ones
I think the most telling decision about work ethics is the working hours increase, now 9 to 5, which also means 10 more hours of working time per week and that Friday will no longer be bunk day after Juma Prayers but a few more hours of work and the week end relief is still Saturday and Sunday.

I didn't agree with the rumors that PTI would end two day weekend and found it to be worst decision that will bring down PTI approval rating among the very people who they want to motivate to work more. This decision to increase working hours to 5pm is the best balance.
Private sector is already used to 9 till late so 9 till 5 is the right step in the right direction.

It is 8 to 4 now, how the work hours increased?

Yeah, its not a 10 hour increase per week but an hour more for each day of the week plus the customary bunking after Juma prayers now potentially stand to count more hours every week.

Rumours were doing rounds that the government will announce a 48-hour (six-day) working week but the minister announced that the government has instead changed the working hours and will also make sure the bureaucrats duly attend offices.

“There is a trend among government employees that they normally don’t return to work after Friday prayers but we will make sure all government employees complete their work hours,” said Chaudhry.
