I for one would like to see PIA privatized, you look at any developed economy. They will privatize, that is because often the public sector makes a pickle of things and becomes in-efficient and monopolistic. eventual privatization is inevitable or bankruptcy follows.

But in Pakistan IK was right, privatization is not the right option at this point what with all the corruption that would happen in the transition, and even then, the economic climate does not favor such a change of a vital part of Pakistan, the PIA.
