Nawaz seeks India-like commission on Kargil

I won't be surprised if he didn't cancel the Indian PM visit despite knowing about this operation. This isn't the only incident when he didn't know about something important happening in the country. In his first tenure he didn't know that an operation against MQM was going to conducted in Karachi even though a common man of Karachi had some hints that this is going to happen. Still he was the PM then and didn't know that an operation is going to be conducted in the biggest city of Pakistan. What an idiot. He also didn't know that he had an agreement with Saudis to not to participate in politics for 10 years and it is only when the Saudis themselves revealed that agreement when he knew about it. What a joke this guy is.



Well it might be true that PN chief might not be told about the operations since navy wasn't supposed to be involved in it. The fact is considering Nawaz Sharif's history I don't believe him saying that he didn't know about the operation. I would believe in Musharraf's point of view that he was told about it in a meeting.

So he is a untrustworthy person.

And you are correct its better to believe a Army guy than to believe a politician.I wish the war never happened but if they decided that they are going to do it then i believe the Naval chief should have known because had India launched a Naval attack your Navy would have been caught unaware.Did the PAF chief know about this operation?

i don't understand why a kargil commission idea would make Pakistanis so angry ? Afraid of the truth coming out if the commission turns out to be honest by chance ?

And then these very Pakistanis people blame their politicians for lying to them . I think the people are to be blamed just as much .

Why did it took so long for Sharif to demand this? why he didn't acted upon his advise himself?

It is same person who directed the PIA plane carrying Musharraf to land in India and when it did not happened he appointed new army chief, without dismissing previous one.

Nawaz has had his turns in office and corruption was rife. Pakistanis should stay away fronm these corrupt politicos. PNL and PPP have had their turns how many times must they fail before our people stop voting for them

I cant understand what is the problem with having a commission as it will only find out who were responsible for the war...or is Kargil seen as an achievement?

The lovers of Pakistan army seriously believe that their army under the command of Musharraf the Great, also know as Temur Saani, had grabbed the enemy by the short and curlies and the decisive victory was almost accomplished in Kargil but the then PM stabbed the army in the back and grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory. Therefore, no such commission is needed but Nawaz the traitor should be publicly hanged at the same place where the poor soldiers were found dead with grass into their stomachs.
