Thanks dear actually KURFUZI & Körfezi the phonetics is same just the difference of English and Turkish allophones. if you wud have kept the Arabic script of your language then you guess?![]()
Are you female, 'dear'? ;-) You know, Turkish was a much much richer language only a hundred years ago, due to mainly Farsi (Persian) but also Arabic influence. In the past 100 years or so, so-called nationalists have practically destroyed the Turkish language. An objective Turkish intellectual has called it "linguistic genocide".
