Well vaccines are meant to be good,otherwise why would those vaccines be there at the first place.

My family fasts the first ten days of muharram and then we do a khatam on the tenth and donate something to the poor. The shia side of my family do roze too but they do matam on the tenth. My uncles usually invite me but I find it reprehensible.
