But sometimes I have to work to check someone is doing the work correctly,. That means doing his work by myself.

Yaar you have family tree ? BTW since you mentioned Grandpa word, I have never seen my grandpa. But my Prof. treated me like Grand Son.

I personally don't & Dad never gave a wooden nickle about the whole cast thing or the Kashmiri thing or where we come from - None of that mattered to him so he never was interested in any of that !

But my Grandpa did have a proper family tree going back a few generations that he meticulously preserved but that we've lost now !

But I did get to see my Grandpa because he lived till a ripe old 93 & died about 2 years ago ! And because he was 33 at the time of the Partition, a Congress worker in his early days before becoming a die-hard fan of Jinnah & being in the British Indian Army before that - I used to hear so many of his stories !
