NASR Opens New Chapter in India-Pakistan Arms Race.

but china is least intrested in mapping the whole of the vast indian landscape .Heck it has bigger fish to fry and it might not give a satellite to washingtonr client state

Except the Smerch is just a projectile..nothing more..
You can escape getting hit bad from a smerch strike.. not a missile that can follow you around.. with a small tactical nuke.

Who said Smerch is just a projectile? How Nasr going to 'follow someone around'? Smerch has various guidance. So is Indian Pinaka. Pakistan tested a new MBRL, OK, but how it opens a 'new chapter' in 'arms race' is strange fact!!!

I do not know if there is any country ever developed such a nuke that can accommodate inside small multi-barrel missile. Even battlefield field nukes has certain diameter.

BTW India also tested 0.2 kt so called 'battlefield' nuke.

Well tactically you have little to loose but strategically a lot loose.

India's NFU policy ensures than any Nuclear strike against it would be met with massive response..so if you decide to use your first strike on an IBG(since Corps will no longer be marching as single consolidated unit) instead of an all out nuclear attack..you will ensure that Indian second strike will seriously limit your ability to launch more nukes.

So there is possibility India will escape with minimal damage(in nuclear terms).

Not exactly, should the sit escalate into an all out nuclear war and hypothetically speaking, India nukes us 6 feet under. The fallout of nuclear war will catch up to you. A cloud of radioactive dust will linger over India until the next monsoon winds blow it over Afghanistan/Iran/Iraq. There's no accounting for weather but as per my calculations and looking at the fallout from the Chernobyl disaster. The cloud could reach up to Russia in the North, Turkey in the west and Indonesia in the East.
The crops will begin to fail, soon all eatables will read high levels of radiation, refugees from what used to to Pakistan will start to pour in, adding further load on your already dwindling food supplies. After about a year, your population over 60 and under 5 will have reduced significantly because they usually tend to go first in the event of radiation exposure. Then your hospitals will be filled with people suffering from radiation sickness, which can range from nausea to accelerated breakdown of muscular protein.
Conclusion: It won't escalate into a full blown nuclear conflict. Nasr itself is a deterrent against "Cold Start" however, it is a deterrent which can be brought into action easier than a nuke warhead.

India should try not to go to war with Pakistan, and let Pakistan with a GDP of $200billion, spend more and more money on weapons, that will reduce her growth in the future.

Also want Pakistan to buy some submarines and hopefully 1 aircraft carrier. As its the economy, which means a nation is stronger and rest follows.

It's indigenous, which means it doesn't cost too much. Plus, we can keep this up even when we are broke but since you seem so full of ideas, here's one from my side. Why doesn't India disarm and set an example for the world to follow ? Put's a lump down your throat when it's you being asked to give up your defence against a hostile neighbour doesn't it ?

Because China is starting a arms race in Asia and India is responding.

Plus the masses of planes and ships China are building are not affecting they growth as compared to Pakistan, as China has a powerful economy.

Look at Bangladesh, a much smaller nation and economy compared to Pakistan 10 years ago, knows not to waste money on defence, can over take Pakistan GDP soon.

They may. But as soon as we recover from this Taliban menace, we will be back on the road to progress. It's not too long ago, from 2005-07 Pakistan was an economic success story. IMF and World Bank were all about Pakistan's Economic Miracle. A country which was said to be unable to repay it's debt in 200 years did so in 7 and hit 16,0000 points on the stock exchange to boot ! So we'll wait for that day.

And what about pakistan's existance?? We can always refuse pak refugees!!

And what about pakistan's existance?? We can always refuse pak refugees!!

UN charter states that in the event of a humanitarian crisis, member states are bound to entertain refugees regardless of cast, creed or country.
And let's say for arguments sake that you do deny Pakistani refugees, your food supply lasts you another month but foreign aid(in terms of food) will be suspended because you nuked Pakistan and then turned away the refugees.

My observation is that just like Indian strategists think that a limited conventional attack on nuclear Pakistan will not trigger an all out nuclear response from Pakistan, becasue of Indian strategic nucelar deterrance; Pakistani strategists think that a small tactical nuclear attack on Pakistani soil on Indian soldiers (not civilians) will not trigger an all out nuclear response from India, becasue of Pakistani strategic nuclear deterrant. So it is a calculated playing with fire game. The game goes on like this. Pakistan supports militants against nuclear India. India doesnt respond with an all out war. India counters it by a limited war strategy, thinking that Pakistan will not respond with an all out war. Pakistan counters it by a tactical nuclear attack within its own boundry, thinking that India will not respond with an all out war. So we are back to square one where Pakistan supports militants and India just fights the militants, or supports millitants in Pakistan.
