whats so insensitive about it. When you think at macro level, and want to prioritize spending, you have to understand choices given to you.

Yes i will laugh because now people in Pakistan use toilet and govt dont have to do this. If your govt have to tell you that you should use toilet then i have no word for the people of that nation.

Waisee why is it that we guys don't have this 'open defecation' problem ?

We do have people urinating in the public by going to one corner and doing their thing but 'defecation' means something further than that...right ?

A good development indeed. In the medium term, India will become the butt of many jokes even maybe to the point of being stereotyped, but you guys will come out as a really different country if these dirty pervasive practises are completely overcome.

On the surface of it, such things being co-ordinated by the PM's office while having so much of economic mess is totalling LOL worthy but the second and third order effects will lead to billions in health care savings and billions of $ in additional tourist volume..

And with the constant flow of tourists coming in the country every year, it wouldn't be hard for a diverse country like India to rebrand itself.
