What a mess in the hospital. This is not the only government hospital in this condition. Healthcare for the poor is so so bad and reflects very poorly on efforts by many governments in this sector.
The per capita expenditure remains abysmally low for healthcare. This incident is not the first one or the last one either. Life of poor people who can’t afford private healthcare remains cheap.
Such incidents happen every year and in different parts of India.
