Yup. Railway was cannibalized during ANP and Saad Rafique plunged it into billions of loss while pitching bullet train and whatnot on one side and on the other well you can guess.

The small mandate central punjab gave to PTI i dont think that region should get ministry or reserved seat its unfair that South and North gave heavy mandate and reserved seats are going to Lahore

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Railway faced financial loss amounting to Rs. 42.673 billion during last five years of incumbent Government due to negligence of authorities concerned and corruption being underway in the department.

The department witnessed major loss in tenure of Federal Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, which was Rs. 24.10 billion despite his claims to make Pakistan Railway profitable.

The losses sustained by Pakistan railway was Rs. 7.80 billion during financial years of 2002-2003, Rs. 5.79 billion during 2003-04, Rs. 3.29 billion during 2004-05, Rs. 11.26 billion during 2005-06 and 14.47 billion during 2006-07, sources in the railway ministry told Online on Sunday.

While Karachi does have a strong IT base , same as perhaps Lahore , the ideal person for Ministry should have been someone who excels in Running a IT firm in Europe or North America of Pakistani Origin

I donot know WTH, this is so important minister-ship given to an idiot in MQM, who does not know, if u put a computer in-front and ask him to type a business letter, he can't do it. The next world economy depends on technology & IT.

Pakistan's economy depends on IT, and Lahore has a booming Software and IT industry, it earns billions of dollars every year as Pakistani Foreign Exchanger.

Not happy with this IT Minister given to an idiot.

Really prefer that the govt. change the IT Minister ASAP.
