Goon League plan to keep Patwari minded judges in majority thwarted
Seniority is no principle.
That's the plan @muhammadhafeezmalik
Seniority is no principle of merit. This mistake of SC in the past must be fixed now. If the senior most judge is corrupt or controversial, should he become judge of SC? Absolutely not! This principle was made by SC also
Qualification is more important than seniority. Isa ruined his career after he failed to produce a money trail. He may be nice guy but now he is biased .
I followed his court hearing, him and his wife did massive mud slinging on other judges and PTI, but never produce a money trail in the court.
That was Halal merit since Mian Mafroor did it. @FOOLS_NIGHTMARE @muhammadhafeezmalikAlso, respected members should remember when Nawaz appointed 11 hand picked " Kashmiri" judges to Lahore High Court.
Since you’ve clearly appraised this on the basis of merit and your rigorous research, please tell me the answer to these few questions:Again. Seniority is no merit. Judicial council can come to an agreement about merit of appointing judges to SC, but calling seniority a principle of merit is absurd.
Senior most military officer in army has never been appointed as army chief. Does this make the senior most also the most competent for the post? Likewise, being senior most judge is no principle of merit. They can be considered with other junior judges but they should not be guaranteed a seat in Supreme Court just because they are senior most.
- Why the three most senior judges in Sindh have been passed up thrice. What violation of merit would happen by appointing them?
- Why the 4th, 6th and 7th nominees in your view are more deserving? Please detail the case on merit. I bet you don’t even know their names, but here you are defending it on the basis of merit.
- Why no senior most judge has been appointed in the last six appointments?

I have already answered. Justice Faez Isa and his like minded people in JCP (imported govt's lawyers, bar councils etc) all wish to impose this "principle of seniority" without taking into account actual merit of the judges.Answer the questions.
You did not. I’ll state them again for you:I have already answered. Justice Faez Isa and his like minded people in JCP (imported govt's lawyers, bar councils etc) all wish to impose this "principle of seniority" without taking into account actual merit of the judges.
As I said senior most judges can be considered to be elevated as SC judge, but they should not be given any priority in elevation out of merit. This is why justice Faez Isa and his like minded people are rejecting junior judges from being elevated to SC in Judicial Commission of Pakistan

As I said I have no problem with appointment of senior most judges on merit. Why should they not become SC of Pakistan? What I have issue is with this bogus reasoning given by justice Faez Isa and his like minded people in JCP that junior judges cannot be elevated to SC only because they do not adhere to "principle of seniority".

Merit is a key consideration, but so is seniority and so is representation. There’s a case to be made the seniority is not important, but that’s not the discussion here. Pakistan’s apex court also needs to show judges from each of the provinces, and nobody’s saying that seniority is the ONLY principle, they are reacting to the fact that senior judges have been passed up for appointments multiple times in a row because the CJP wants to pack the court. As I said I have no problem with appointment of senior most judges on merit. Similarly CJ of Pakistan must explain why senior most judges are not elevated in last six appointments? Appointments must be based on merit regardless of where judges are in seniority list as seniority is no principle of merit
Then we have nothing to disagree. Justice Faez Isa and other members of JCP are absolutely right in their reservationsMerit is a consideration, but so is seniority and so is representation. Pakistan’s apex court needs to show judges from each of the provinces, and nobody’s saying that seniority is the ONLY principle, they are reacting to the fact that senior judges have been passed up for appointments multiple times in a row because the CJP wants to pack the court.
