If it is the 'Establishment' that is pushing this then IK should come out and say it publicly and resign if he cannot stand up to them.
I might be a PTI supporter but I am absolutely done with this BS excuse of 'Establishment'. If the Establishment can't let you function then either state it publicly, resign if you do not think you can change the situation, or accept responsibility for your actions.
Whenever there is a tough decision, people start using the 'Establishment' bahana.
And he is free to do whatever he wants, as per the bail order. But it doesn't specify that his name be taken of the ECL. Both things are mutually exclusive.
And that's where the media and our intelligentsia needs stop feeding into the rumor mill of 'the Establishment is making them do XYZ'. Civilian supremacy isn't going to be achieved by acting like cowards, whispering anonymously to the media here and there about 'the Establishment isn't letting us do X,YZ'.The main problem here is not what to do, but to avoid being seen as responsible for what happens.
IK alone dealing with extremely experienced and crook opposition. All opposition parties are basically ethnic parties and when NAB knock on there door they try to sell regional card ..Sindhi card , pashtun card or punjabi card etcSo far convicted criminal has win win situation where as this pathetic liars tabar and the social media PM got banged by his own supporters and voters... one side talking about the riyasat-e-madina, at the same time every single action of the PM and his party is illegal. There is no such standard set anywhere in the world in which govt gonna allow convicts to go beyond the jurisdiction of the state courts and the LEA’s whatsoever thé circumstances are. Govt already has done enough damage to the state. IMO, whether that criminal going to abroad or not it doesn’t now. What matter is how this govt knee down (surrender) in front of the mafia.
The govt is about to fail in fact already failed... on the other side, convicts, criminals like Zardari and Sharif literally making fun of our poor state... and the courts aka (loondi adalatain) set the precedent of elitism and biasness of the highest order. Sorry to say but such state we called “Banana Republic”.
It's not about 'set standards in the world', it's about the law in PAKISTAN, and everything done so far is per the law in Pakistan. So far convicted criminal has win win situation where as this pathetic liars tabar and the social media PM got banged by his own supporters and voters... one side talking about the riyasat-e-madina, at the same time every single action of the PM and his party is illegal. imran does not want to be seen as the man carring the gun............In short, the government was left out of the "deal" and was not consulted. The players of the deal thought that PTI would roll over. It didn't. And IK wants to make sure that there is no exit avenue in place for NS.

Civilian supremacy will be achieved when politicians accept responsibility for the decisions they make, or call out those centers of power that are forcing them to make decisions they don't want to.
And please note that I am making a distinction between influence & coercion - the military etc have every right to offer their opinion and disagreements with policy and work to lobby the government to get their views implemented, but at the end of the day the government needs to take responsibility for the decisions the make.
Here's the bottom line, it's the government's prerogative to accept his plea or deny it AND anything in between. One extreme it to deny it while the other extreme is to unconditionally grant it. The in between is to conditionally grant it. Take it or leave it. If the gongla league goes to court then the government can simply say that fine then let the court decide whether he stays on the ecl or is taken off ecl. We won't say anything either way and don't bother asking us again cuz we'll just refer you back to the courts.
it's a checkmate for both the gonglas and the courts that are too afraid to take responsibility.
@Farah Sohail ko na chherna abhi..@PakSword @Farah Sohail what are your thoughts?
you will still support PTI/MaslihatHQ after they allow Zardari to leave without a plea bargain? Now all patwaris and haters of PTI will be crying again. They have been crying from day one and journey has just begun.
