I have noticed in last 4 years N-league is slowly shifting towards centre left from being right wing pseudo religious party.

Totally agree with you. Whos endorsement they are looking for by doing this? ... certainly not their Punjabi vote bank.

Well to be a true leader you've to take some hard decisions....

There are donkeys out there who already keep shouting on and on about how PTI and Imran Khan is a jewish conspiracy (with a disturbing amount of people who accept this view). If Imran Khan isolates conservative elements in Pakistani society, the donkeys will make noise even louder.

Like I said things are hard enough as they are. In developing democracies populism is in a way necessary for a party to prosper.

PMLN shift goes with the weather. In 90s, PMLN was historically recorded as conservative aligned to the right wing at the time when the weather was caught up with the religious phase. Now the weather is caught up with liberal phase, therefore PMLN is playing to the gallery or have been after the military operation against TTP sealed their [PMLN] fate.

PTI is consistently entertained to the right wings. Given the environment in the political party and the province where conservative mindset thrives, i doubt PTI would risk the majority of conservative to align with the left wing.

PTI was getting popular in punjab urban areas and N-league wanted to counter that. They were helped by double faced PTI policies in KP soon after coming to province power. Future vote bank will be more and more concentrated in urban areas.

PTI will loss out with right wing mullah pleasing politics in the long run. They better get back to what made them popular in the first place.

Frankly speaking, with the ejection of Nawaz and coming of SK Abbasi, things are moving at a much smoother pace in the govt. machinery now, as Abbasi is putting some real effort. Now there's democracy in effect.

Nawaz Sharif has rather proved to be a lazy sloth, yeh 4 saal jhak marta raha hai, there's a dire need to eliminate his family from politics, along with people like Ishaq Dar, Abid Sher Ali, Rana Mashood, Rana Sanaullah, Kh. Saad Rafiq etc.
