From centuries of defeat and demoralization, it an explainable phenomena. It set in with thr collapse of the Mughal empire, the cleansing of the Muslim
Majority by British and Marathi thugs in Mughal heartland of North Hindustan, and the humiliation and destruction of our royal families and intelligentsia of the time.

Pakistan was made and people had high hopes but then again hopes were dashed by the British educated military and political elite. Pakistan was never able to tap into the feelings of its masses or to give them a purpose due to the turbulent internal and toxic politics of the country.

Finally for the first time, people have recovered some semblance of higher aspirations in PTI and Imran Khan. Pakistanis are thinking on the level of fixing their problems and not just relegating them to less capable corrupt elite.

As a result of PTI, Pakistan is finally thinking of itself as a nation for the first time since 1947. If this is the only gift we gain, it id still worth it. Pakistan must rise to higher goals and not let itself or it's people stagnate.
