How do you think about losing ancient culture?
They said Ahom people is speaking the Dai dialect very similar to Shan state, and Lanna is it correct? Or just only small group of people?

Do you feel you belongs to S.E asia more because race? Is there any racial segregation because being minority? or Caste system?

That photo could be use to justify "Assamese today" only If that represent the majority to every villedge of Assam.
However, I can find some image on the internet that is not the case.

They looks so Thai. and so S.E.Asia.
How can I know you do not cherry pick some boy image that suits your mind?

As for your question which race this boy belongs, I would say Dravidian race.
Actually our S.E.A is the mix between Dravidian Race and East Asian Race. Therefore, we are related to Dravidian Race as well. But if all Assamese looks like these 2 girls, then I would say, they should be classified as S.E.Asia than South Asia based on facial feature similiarity.

This guy easily walk in Bangkok and every one ask him the direction in Thai language because he looks so Thai.

No. They are not history.
Take a look at "Time of india magazine" 's Assammese Aug 2012.
There was 'nothing serious' and 'we should have stayed back', people from northeast say - The Times of India

That particular boy (not sure if Assammese or not) is Dravidian Race.
