Myanmar Army getting Al-Khalid \ MBT-2000 Tanks?

From wiki

Some sub systems might have been from pakistan or european but this tank is based on Type - 90 of China.

So a tank based on Type-90 with no chinese systems has some pakistani n european sub systems?

it looks more like MBT3000 :bounce:

@BDforever So Burma is taking you guys seriously now. We've had constant inquiries about sonar and torpedo CM complexes from them, specially because we've integrated said systems with Russian platforms often. ARMS RACE!! :chilli:

India doesn't manufacture any major arms ready for exports,China on the other hand is in the top 5 exporters, if an arms race breaks out it wont be China Arming BD,India arming Burma, it would be more like either China arming both sides or Russia arming burma.

I never said that we do, nor would we be involved in such an arms race. I specifically gave an example to show how the Burmese are probing everywhere these days for systems. No need to attempt at reading between the lines yaara, we are not going to try our hand at being an arms seller- to wit, Afghanistan's recent demands which were turned down.

The example wrt Indian and Burma was given furthermore to underline the fact that along with other nations on its list, upon whom Burma seems to be contemplating on wrt facilitators in its arms build up, they've recently sent over a team for sub-surface training to Pakistan, they have been probing east European countries, China obviously and wrt India they had specifically asked for the HUMSA NG sonar complex. So where did you get the impression that India would be a major arms supplier in the possible arms race. Don't jump the gun yaara. The race will be between BD and Burma. We shall be happy spectators.:partay:

our primary combination of arms source is Russia and China, then we have south korean tech, serbian tech, italian tech, American arms, German arms, Singapore arms, training from USA, UK, Turkey, South Korea and recently Belarus has joined in joint arms project, project with Pakistan, new deal with Indonesia. So nothing to worry about :D:tup: and btw your country offered us Sonar system but it is unlikely to take that offer ;)

Its not the suppliers my man, its the cash, they are attracting Uncle Sam and Count Mondego in a big way, a decade from now they'll be rolling in money gleaned from natural resources, a luxury that is limited in BD's case. So there will be plenty to worry about when you add that to a state that is known for taking very extremist stands.:)

Do not worry Uncle Sam is now selling us nice arms to both army (eg. Colt m4 carbine SOPMOD, HK-416, plan to procure humbee for SWAT) and emergency force like police, there is a procurement of sophisticated weapons for police from USA eg. Kriss Super V :D

That my friend is a red herring, Uncle Sam also sells F-16s to Pakistan, which does not translate to the kind of support they provide to countries with massive natural resources whom they favor, KSA anyone. They have more natural gas than Mushy's behind and precious stones by the gander, which btw were boycotted by brands such as Bulgari, Tiffany, and Cartier in the past. Such positions are now being reversed, the world is opening up to them and they are looking at you AND whole wars can be fought by being financed by a truck load of diamonds- check out SA's early purchases which they made from the money out of the diamond trade. Might want to settle that Rohingya affair before they come in to their own my man. Unless obviously you want to stave them off with SMGs in the future.

AND speaking of money will you please ask your compatriots to stop pandering the 200 billion dollars figure as the nominal GDP of BD.:cuckoo:

Well we are trying to get best thing as well as a variety of arms instead of relying on particular party and we remain neutral as long as possible.

and who is that stupid says nominal GDP of BD is 200billion ?

One of your loons, he also wanted BD to develop a space program with rockets and what not, a satellite launched by another nation is understandable and very much doable for BD, but build a SLV? Handle ta mone ashce na, maybe luffy. Dunno.

You could always start a war with Burma and send in your troops into their forests, promise we'll cheer you on.:D

well we are launching our Satellite with Help of America in 2015 but project by BD itself right now is impossible. And we do not want war unless Burma attacks us :D
