It may be that Bangladesh has realized Myanmar is the lesser of two evils between India and Myanmar and will need China more than the US.

BAL ministers can not emphasize enough repeatedly how India-Bangladesh relationship forged in blood to assure India their unconditional loyalty. They have opened all our roads, railways, ports, for use of India practically without any reciprocal benefit in the last month. They will suck up to India to any extent to remain in power by conducting farther sham elections at mid-night with the blessing from New Delhi. BAL have no foreign benefactor other than India. China will have no problem conducting business with BNP lead Bangladesh unlike India. BAL and India need each other to do their dirty business at the expense of Bangladesh's sovereignty. Why BAL would consider India to an evil at all? You need complete overhaul to your analysis.

It is very unlikely that Bangladesh is supporting Arakan Army. This just does not goes with BAL mentality. They will bend over back to accommodate Indian and Burmese trangression. China uses rebel groups to make burmese govt. more dependent on China and make lucrative deals. It is carrot (international diplomatic support) and stick (rebel insurgency) policy.

There is a continuous supply chain from Chinese border to different ethnic rebels. Ethnic rebels co-operate with each other. For example, Arakan army have main base in Kachin rebel held territory which has border with China.

I am not fraustrated.... 2030 is merely another number, its entirely meaningless.

Economy of BD will progress whoever is in charge because GoB does not have that much say in it, its private sector lead.

Our economy will always be tied to other countries. We wont suddenly be free to act with impunity.

BAL is the enemy of the country because it wont defend the state. Sovereignty does not have a price and it can not ever be compromised. This is what is happening.

Next step would be to accept rest of the rohingya? All the bengali muslims? Become a indian protectorate , join the indian federation, ban islam?

Where do you draw the red line? What is the definition of sovereignty that is acceptable? If BAL can not stand against the Moghs can it stand against the indians?

BD has failed to develop BA into a proper fighting force, BN development has stalled and BAF has less capacity now in relation to our enemies than we did in the 80's. That is after suffering waves after waves of rohingya expulsion, shani bahini activities, BDR mutiny, etc.
